No, the software is programmable to a specific “pin” that responds to your unit only.
Yes, the unit is fully enclosed and water proof. It has hinged door with a locking feature. It is made of hardened plastic that will stand up to years of usage. The unit is designed to meet NEMA 6P/IP68 ratings, UL Listed to UL 508A, Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 4X, 5, 6, 6P, 12 &13 and is UL94V-0 flame rated.
The system is a Blue Tooth interface and has a maximum range of 300 feet. Other variables such as terrain, weather, power, etc. may affect the operating distance. But dispatch will be able to help in the advent of all situations.
The unit takes between 20-30 minutes to install. It can be mounted under the trailer anywhere it can interface with the brake lines.

Yes, dispatch will have complete control and will be able to help with all situations but you will also have manual solutions available if communication fails for whatever reason.
The system is located usually under the trailer and protected by secure bracing and a tamper proof type box..But again if someone has a lot of time anything can be destroyed..The Trailer Sentry keeps the trailer protected under all normal situations.
We partner with an incredible company called 7P Solutions and they charge a very small fee per month for the GPS monitoring. Raging between $15 - $25.00 per month. Multi unit discounting may be available.
